We’ve updated the Small Business platform to support MySQL 5. If you’re using a database with your site or store, we recommend that you upgrade now to take advantage of better performance and enhanced features.

Yahoo finally updated their Small Buisness platform to support MySQL 5. Upgrading is really, and here is how:

  1. Go the control panel for your website here.
  2. As soon as you login, there should be a message asking you to update. Click it.
  3. You might need to update your PHP. Click the “Go to PHP version” and follow the on screen instructions.
  4. Go back to the “Return Database” page, and hit the button. Your done!

Sometimes, you will receive a error message saying you should repair your database. Ignore this message and installing your database again.
